Writers at Newark Reading Series Spotlight: Honor Moore

So, what will you be doing just about every third Tuesday night, September through April?  I’ll tell you what you’ll be doing.  You’ll be attending the Writers at Newark Reading Series with us!  I promise you will be met with extremely talented novelists, memoirists, and poets, offering readings at the petite and artsy Paul Robeson Gallery.  I also promise you brownies, coffee, (though I can’t promise you that it will be good coffee. Hailing from the Caribbean, my coffee standards are quite high) and plenty of time for Q & A with our visiting authors.

We here at the blog, will be keeping you updated on the goings on of our Writers at Newark visiting authors.  First we would like to start with poet, Honor Moore.  Edited by Honor Moore, the anthology,Honor Moore Poems from the Women’s Movement, has garnered a spotlight in Oprah’s Book Club, special praise from the Library of America, and is going into its second printing.  She will be reading at the Paul Robeson Gallery on November 17th. You don’t want to miss it!

So folks, please click on the next tab in the header above to view the 2009-2010 Writers at Newark calendar, and we look forward to seeing you on a very near Tuesday evening.
