Goodbye, blog!

As the new guard takes the blog into their capable hands, the old guard would like to sign off.  We have all enjoyed writing for the rnmfa blog, and we’re excited to see it grow in the next year.  We’ll be watching from afar, but in case you want to track us down, here is a little bit of what we’ll be doing:

Saeed Jones (MFA 2010, Poetry) is moving to Jersey City, but he will be teaching history and creative writing at North Star Academy in Newark.  You can continue to follow his goings-on at his blog, http://saeedjones.wordpress.com .

Maria Luna (MFA 2010, Fiction) is going to Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic and plans to do volunteer work and teach English.  She will work on expanding her thesis, writing about Hispanic culture from a closer perspective.

Moira Moody (MFA 2010) is moving to San Francisco where she hopes to continue to teach English.  She has a few connected stories that she hopes to expand and refine.

We will all continue writing!

Much love,

Maria, Moira, and Saeed.
