R-N MFA student Nick Ripatrazone published an essay about Irene McKinney’s The Girl with the Stone in Her Lap as part of Octopus Magazine’s “recovery project”, which features older or out or print poetry collections. His thoughtful discussion of the pastoral in McKinney’s debut collection was no doubt inspired by McKinney’s reading on September 28th as part of the Writers at Newark series. Great work, Nick!
